CHEEKS

Studied at Leeds Art University, UK. and illustrated the multiple characters of DWY! whilst visiting New York with band mates. Inspired by the art, comedy and sounds of

New York City nightlife. CHEEKS engaged with street corner traders, purchased beloved roller boots, and spent time at the 80’s infamous roller-dance rink - The Roxy.

Creating lyrics, including those by DJ HOWLIN’ BADGER - Demonised New Yorkers.

CHEEKS lived with, illustrated and died as a result of DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). Displaying of alters intensified, at the age of 49, life was taken by suicide in 2022.

In 2025 the artistic talent of CHEEKS was resurrected through DWY!
